Douro Strings Academy

Douro Strings Academy is an international music summer course for young musicians, preferably from high school or Bachelor levels.

During the week, the students have the opportunity to attend instrument classes, chamber music classes and to play on the Douro Strings Academy Orchestra. This is the fifth edition of a fresh new artistic project, guided and created by excellent teachers and musicians.

An entire week full of music in an environment conducive to study but also to socializing and sharing experiences. At the Conservatório de Música de Vila Real, and at the Teatro de Vila Real in association with "Ciclo Clássicos de Verão".
